Today, we dare say that Konecranes lifttrucks and reachstackers - through their exceptional quality -are the best investment on long term.

- 1947: Founding of SMV
- 1959: First lifttruck leaves the factory
- 1994: Appointment of new management
- 2000: Introduction Spectra models and new generation containerhandlers
- 2002: Extention up to 300 machines per year
- 2004: Take-over SMV Lifttrucks by the Finnish KCI Konecranes Group
- 2004: Introduction new generation reachstackers TB & CB models (for container & intermodal handling)
- 2006: Introduction new generation lifttrucks and container handlers B-model
- Today: Going for an even better quality!
